Peter Guise
Peter is a Chartered Accountant and is a partner with Staples Rodway Auckland.
He has been a Partner and Director for over 30 years.
Peter has been on the Board of Kinloch Marina since 2009.

Director
Richard Hall
Richard lives in Auckland and operates a medium sized FMCG business specialising in sales and distribution of wholesale grocery.
We have been holidaying in Kinloch for 30 years and our family come to Kinloch most holidays to enjoy boating, mountain biking and fishing.
I have been a director of Kinloch Marina since 2001 and proud of the continued improvements to the marina facility over these years.

Director
Brett Hewson
Brett has owned property in Kinloch since 1976. He came as young boy with my father for a week’s fishing in 1976 and managed to scrape together funds for a deposit on a section and has been here ever since.
He is deeply passionate and concerned about preserving the water quality of the lake for future generations.
Brett is a keen fisherman and shooter. He has a long background in banking and compliance related matters.
Brett has been on the Board of Kinloch Marina since 2014.

Director
Andrew Gibbs
Andrew is a retired Deloitte Partner and Chartered Accountant and has returned to the family farm in Central Hawkes Bay.
Lake Taupo has been the family’s holiday destination since the 60s, first in Taupo and for the last 30 years in Kinloch.
Andrew was appointed to the Board of Kinloch Marina in 2025. He is honoured to have the opportunity to continue the good work of previous members to ensure the marina remains one of Lake Taupo’s true icons and places to visit.

Director
Paul Robinson
Paul and his wife Cheryl have been coming with their family to Kinloch since the mid-1970s. In 2013 they purchased property in Kinloch and then moved here permanently in 2017 after working as a full time farmer on the East Coast of New Zealand.
As many owners will know Paul also worked at the Marina for three years in a co-management position, which gives him a unique perspective of how the marina’s daily operations run and the management required to run it well.
Managers

Deejay Tupe
DJ and his wife have recently returned to Taupo, while their three daughters continue their studies in Auckland.
Having previously lived in Taupo for many years, DJ managed NZ Couriers and served on local school boards, always enjoying being part of the community.
With a passion for the outdoors and connecting with people, DJ brings practical experience and a friendly approach to managing marina operations. He looks forward to ensuring the marina continues to be a welcoming place for all its users.
Secretary

Deb Borlase
Deb moved from Auckland to Kinloch in 2009 and started working for Kinloch Marina in 2012.
Deb loves walking the W2K tracks from Kinloch, gardening and boating.
She is married to Baz and has a Bichon called Jaxon.
